About Gallery Kazandjian...
The gallery has strong connections in central and eastern Europe and Armenia. In addition to visual imagery from these regions, Gallery Kazandjian also shows an extensive collection of the work of the best Polish and Lithuanian silversmiths working with Baltic amber to produce unique pieces of jewellery. Other stones such as turquoise and lapis, which were traditionally traded along the great amber routes to the east, are also used in conjuction with amber.
Set up by Robbie and Sophie Kazandjian, the gallery brings a sense of personal connection with its art, and also a personal service allowing for commisions and customer requests to be pursued. Robbie is from London and brings connections back to Armenia and Lebanon, via Beirut, Anjar and Musa Dagh, while Sophie hails from Royal Deeside in Scotland (opposite Balmoral Castle), with connections back to Poland via Krakow. Sophie is a talented artist and musician herself, and her parents own the successful Knock Gallery in Royal Deeside and are both skilled artists as well.
We aim to deliver artworks which we would be proud to own, and to support the artists and artisans we work with.
